Before Ordering -
Q. HOW SOON IN ADVANCE OF MY WEDDING SHOULD I ORDER MY STATIONERY?
A. Ideally four months before the wedding day.
Q. HOW LONG SHOULD MY STATIONERY ORDER TAKE FROM START TO FINISH?
A. Two/three weeks on average - one week approx for processing/proofing and one week approx for printing/delivery. Lead times may change during peak or busy periods.
Q. WHEN SHOULD I SEND MY INVITATIONS OUT?
A. Eight weeks in advance is the norm but sooner if your wedding is on a public/bank holiday or abroad.
Q. DO YOU DO ANY PACKAGE DEALS FOR ORDERING EVERYTHING TOGETHER?
A. From time to time we will have special offers. Please contact us about a 'Wedding Package Deal' on three or more items ordered together and we can offer you a discount.
Q. DO ENVELOPES COST EXTRA?
A. Yes, we do not include the cost of envelopes in with the invitation prices. This is because pearlescent envelopes are much more expensive than plain envelopes and we give you the option to order either. However, classic white envelopes are included in the price for all RSVP Card and Thank You Card orders.
Q. WE WOULD LIKE OUR INVITATIONS PRINTED IN 2 DIFFERENT LANGUAGES, CAN YOU DO THIS?
A. Yes we can. Please email us the text and we will incorporate it into your invitations or booklets. The proof reading will be entirely up to you to confirm that all information is present and correct.
Q. OUR GUEST NUMBERS ARE NOT FINALISED. CAN I ORDER A SECOND BATCH LATER?
A. Yes, no problem. However we advise that you order enough invites (at least 10% extra) at the start to cover all eventualities. Remember that it is much more cost effective to order extra cards first time around rather than ordering more at a later date.
Q. CAN I ORDER MY MASS BOOKLETS, PLACE CARDS, THANK YOU CARDS, ETC. AT A LATER DATE?
A. Yes. Latest date for Mass Booklets, Place Cards, Table Cards and Table Plans is two weeks before the wedding.
Q. WHEN SHOULD WE SEND THE THANK YOU CARDS?
A. There is no set time to send them but on average we receive Thank You Cards orders around six months after the wedding.
About Ordering -
Q. HOW CAN I ORDER MY STATIONERY FROM JAYCEEFINECARDS?
A. There are three ways to order from us -
i) Order online through this website.
ii) Call in to our shop in Abbeygate Street, Galway from Monday to Friday 10am to 5pm.
ii) Order by phone on 091 564090 or by email on email@example.com.

Q. HOW CAN I ORDER A SAMPLE PACK FROM JAYCEEFINECARDS?
A. Go to the ‘Wedding Sample Pack’ page on our website. The Pack will include our Wedding Card Collection brochure, up to two sample Day Invitations of your choice and a colour swatch sheet. The FREE sample invitations come in the colours as they appear on our brochure/website. The samples are not personalised with your information. We will normally post the pack to you within 48 hours.
About Payment -
Q. BY WHAT METHOD CAN I PAY FOR MY STATIONERY?
A. You can pay instore by cash or card and online by the following methods: Mastercard, Visa Credit, Visa Debit.
About Proofing -
Q. IS THERE AN EXTRA CHARGE FOR TYPESETTING AND THE CREATION OF PROOFS?
A. No, once we receive your order then this is part of the service. For Mass Booklets, we will provide you with a template which you can then amend with your own wording and prayers.
Q. HOW WILL I GET MY PROOF?
A. You will receive a paper proof and/or a proof by email within 4-5 days after ordering. We also offer a Preview Sample Service for €10 extra as part of the proofing process. With this, you will receive one finished card sample, exactly as the full completed order will look. This can give you peace of mind if you are not sure what the final completed invitations will look like.
Q. HOW MANY REVISED PROOFS CAN I GET ?
A. It generally takes no more than three proofs to get your design/layout correct. We will do a maximum of five proofs and then there will be a fee for further proofing with changes.
Q. CAN I CHANGE MY MIND AFTER PROOFING AND OPT FOR A DIFFERENT INVITATION?
A. We will generally allow one change of mind for our invitations. However if we feel that we have spent excessive time on designing and proofing we will alert you to extra design charges.
Q. HOW DO I APPROVE MY PROOF AND PROCEED TO PRINTING?
A. We will need either email confirmation that the proof is correct, or you can sign the paper proof and return to us. We will not proceed with your order until we have one of these approvals.
Q. WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I APPROVE?
A. We will proceed to printing. Note that once we receive approval, your order automatically enters the production process so changes cannot be made. It then normally takes one week to complete your order but this may be longer in busy and peak periods.
About Collection/ Delivery -
Q. HOW LONG BEFORE MY ORDER IS DISPATCHED?
A. It depends on the item. If it is a stock item, we will normally despatch next working day. If it is a personalised item, then our normal schedules are one week after proof approval. Please let us know beforehand if you need your stationery for a specific date and we will work to that date.
Q. HOW LONG WILL THE DELIVERY TAKE?
A. We use both Parcel Post and approved couriers to deliver packages. Both are generally 24-48 hour delivery. If you are using a home address, please make sure someone will be there to accept the package on the agreed day.
Q. HOW MUCH DOES DELIVERY COST?
A. Nationwide delivery in the Republic of Ireland is free. International delivery will incur a charge so please refer to our 'Delivery' page for more details.
About Anything Else -
Q. SHOULD I ASK EVENING INVITEES TO REPLY?
A. Normally these guests are not asked to respond as they are not invited to dine, therefore you will usually not need to know numbers. If you do need to know we can print rsvp details directly on the card.
Q. WHAT IF I DON'T KNOW A GUEST'S NAME?
A. Where possible, try to find out the names of all the guests, but if you are inviting someone and you are leaving it up to them to decide who they bring, put down "James and guest".
Q. WHAT DATE SHOULD I ASK GUESTS TO REPLY BY?
A. An RSVP date should give guests around 4 weeks to reply.
Q. I WANT TO MAKE MY OWN MASS BOOKLETS, CAN YOU JUST PRINT THE COVERS?
A. Yes, you can order booklet covers in any of our 36 design templates or you can supply your own design and we will print them for you. You can also buy white and ivory 100gsm paper from us for the inserts.
Q. WE HAVE OUR OWN ARTWORK ALREADY DESIGNED, CAN YOU PRINT IT FOR US?
A. Yes, please contact us and we will be happy to help you.
Q. I HAVE AN IDEA FOR A DESIGN CAN YOU REALISE IT FOR ME?
A. Yes, we have designed many bespoke invitations so please contact us and we will be happy to help you.
Q. DO YOU PUT POSTAGE STAMPS ON MY INVITATION OR RSVP ENVELOPES?
A. No, you will need to do this part yourself.
Q. CAN I BUY RIBBON SEPARATELY?
A. Yes. We only supply gold and silver ribbon and the cost is 50c per metre. You will find them on our 'Accessories' section.
Q. CAN I BUY ENVELOPES SEPARATELY?
A. Yes, we stock various sizes/brands of envelopes but generally in white and ivory/cream. You will find them on our 'Accessories' section.
